Principals
Mark Kelly
Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer
Mark graduated in 1986 with a special emphasis in Mechanical & Design Engineering. His experience with the Internet dates from the time when he used the Web on a daily basis to interface with MIT. His understanding of the potential and capabilities of the medium has been refined during the past 20 years. His advanced designs and leading edge database-driven Web technologies quickly established Civica Software, which he founded in 1997, at the forefront of corporate Web development. Mark has been able to attract and retain a strong technical team of engineers and Web developers. Mark has become an innovator in the development of police-oriented Web technologies. Under his leadership, they have honed Civica Software’s capabilities to focus on a broad range of local government needs, including the ability of police agencies to easily use and share information to help solve crime.
Stuart Gregg
General Manager and VP Development
Stuart began his software development career before graduating high school, writing video games for early home computers. With over 25 years of video game and general systems coding experience he was responsible for developing many of the modules and interfaces in the Civica System. Stuart is now responsible for the day to day business of Civica along with still heading the R&D team. Whether it’s interfacing closely with clients, pushing for intuitive user interfaces and leading edge technology from the development staff, fresh and interesting website designs from the Media department or making sure the support staff are second to none. Stuart makes sure it all comes together.
